We joined WWOOF because we feel that it is a great opportunity to learn about life's most important topics, which include the production of the food that we consume every day. It's also great way to work with animals and get to know them better. Besides that we feel that it is also a cost effective way to see other parts of the country, which would have probably stayed unexplored.

Whilst we were looking for farms to buy and we stumbled across this website on google and would love to meet like minded people and learn from the expertise. We love the concept of volunteers and farms being able to connect with each other. We are hoping to obtain vital information so that we can either buy an already established organic farm, set up our own organic farm or convert a farm into an organic farm.

I would love to learn about different ways of farming and be able to help people out and learn along the way. I love being outdoors and being around animals and have wanted to experience a farm in Australia since before I arrived. I enjoy meeting new people and am curious about peoples lives and what they’ve done and like being able to share stories.

A long time ago, while traveling, I met a WWOOF host, and I thought it was wonderful to hear their stories. I also like interacting with people and moving my body, so I thought it would be a good fit for me, so I joined.

I would like to do some woofing because I haven't met the local people yet. I am not here to make money, I just want to learn and share my help and smile with others. 🙂

My biggest purpose of coming to Australia is to be with people and language. I helped my grandparents with farm work even when I was in Korea. Whooping is the best choice for me. I want to compare our country and Australia. I am kind and I like people. I want to meet a new culture closest to me.

I am travelling the world to tick off some things on my bucket list as well as to hopefully find some answers to my questions, so I am looking for ideas which might change my life. Wwoofing seems ideal for meeting the local people and getting to know more about local life and customs. So I am looking forward to making my first wwoofing experience in Australia.

I like to learn more about the nature in Australia and the culture, personen who lives in Australia, about farming and meet new people. And I find also interested to learn more about all the animals in Australia. To work in the nature make my head free and it makes me happy. Because I like to live in a community with other people and do something together. I also do this because I would like to create nutritional value for the nature. This is what I want I achieve with the work.

I (Amber) had a membership for Wwoof France and I wanted to experience wwoofing in Australia. I am very interested in alternative ways of living and autonomy in all its forms. I would love to spend my days with animals again and to learn skills from those who have the experience. Nathan is handskilled and is ideally looking for a place to continue to forge. he's also very interested in alternative ways of living and to learn new skills as well. If we do some wwoofing, we hope to meet interesting people, enjoy the outback life and learn new stuff everyday.

I joined WWOOF to experience the Aussie culture a bit more, to keep myself active and moving around. I want to meet people whose paths I would not normally cross. It will be good to see this side of the country, and develop some long lasting skills.

I joined WWOOF because I have been primarily by the coast in Australia in the time I have been here. In 6th grade we had a Australia project in my English class- and I chose to write about The Blue Mountains. Ever since that I have wanted to visit Australia and now that I'm here, I want to experience more of what Australia has to offer. After being told about WWOOF by my tour leader, it seemed like the perfect way to accomplice that. I love learning new stuff and what better way than throwing yourself in the deep end.
