I’m on my first working holiday visa in Australia, and I’m looking to expand my work experience and to try something completely different from what I’m used to. I think farm work would be a good challenge for me.

I joined wwoof to work on the land and to get know people. I am used to working on our organic small holding back home in Italy and enjoy working outdoors and doing manual work.

Initially, I solely wanted to visit a friend, but since Australia is a long travel from Germany I took my chance to stay for longer and learn about the Australian lifestyle, countryside and ecosystem. I want to see something else and get new perspectives. I am treating this like a few gap months from home and to get myself clear about a few decisions in my life. And I definitely try to skip winter time.

We joined WWOOF because we want to experience Australia as more than just a tourist destination. Working on a farm will hopefully give us the chance to meet locals that we otherwise would not have met and explore their culture on a deeper level. We are very interested in sustainable living and eager to gain more knowledge and to learn new skills along the way.

We thrive on learning, love for nature and connecting with other human beings and souls. Easy going and hands-on, we like to make ourselves useful and would be happy to help out and contribute to your ongoing projects!

We are currently travelling around Australia together for the next 2 1/2 months and would love the opportunity to volunteer and see some areas that other tourists may miss. We both have volunteering background and would love to volunteer whilst exploring Australia.

I joined WWOOF so I could gain some experience in different working environments, learn new skills as well as make connections with other like minded people as a solo traveller.

I joined WWOOF because it was recommended to me by a friend who is currently traveling round Australia. It seams like a great way to meet local people and experience a place through an insider perspective. It is economical for me and benefits local people as well. I am also interested in caring for the environment and sustainability, which is something I am looking at as a possible career.

Im preparing for my trip from February 2024 to May 2024 in Australia. Im from Canada and Im so excited for this chapter because i've been waiting 5 years to finally visit Australia. I work in the wine industry, I did some hospitality work and sales as well. I am really into biodynamic practices and into natural wines. I would love to learn more about organic agriculture and biodynamic technics as well. Im open to various opportunity and curious to see what woofin Australia will bring to me.

While travelling we would still like to educate ourselves, especially about the culture and the animals from Australia as well as farming. We love meeting new people and work with them in a team. WWOOFing could give us the opportunity to do this.

I have always wanted to do WWOOFing since I first heard of the concept. I think it is a wonderful way to see a country and stay with residents whilst being productive and having purpose. I love the idea of living sustainably off the land, ideally in an organic way that doesn't harm the soil and local environment. I am excited by the prospect of messaging hosts and getting my stay confirmed.

I would love to get to know the countryside and farming life of Australia a bit better while I am here. WWOOF offers the opportunity to get in touch with local organic farmers, which really appeals to me.

I joined wwoof, because a friend from England recommended it to me, she told me that it was a very nice experience, and so it has been, I have done wwoofin for 4 months in New Zealand and I have made great friends and learned about different cultures, which I will always appreciate it, I have learned new skills, I liked the idea of ​​exchanging culture and learning new things, also my level of English has increased a lot, I can say that I speak English well, which is super important for relating to people, I have been a cook, a salesperson in stores, a housekeeper, a photographer, and even a croupier in a large line of casinos in Chile. I have experience building, painting, and cleaning.

I think that Woofing is a good way to travel, learn new things and discover people. I really loved my past woofer experiences in France. I did it several times: in goat farm, veggie farm, etc. at different season and different places. I am really sensitive to the environmental cause and in my opinion, travelling with Woofing is a good way to travel taking time to discover a place and people. Helping and learning new things makes me happy and feeling useful. So, I hope to share a new experience with you ! 🙂

I wanted to study English because it is my least favorite subject. Another reason is that I would like to spend time in a place with a lot of nature. I want to experience something I have never done before.

I want to join WWOOF because for me, It's the best way to meet another people, practice my english skill and visit this beautiful country ! Also, before to be an engineer, I was maintenance technician. I know how to use my hand and I will be happy to help you.

I introduced it to you earlier. I went to Australia on working holiday but I have never lived in an Australian home. I want to live in their home and learn about their culture. I chose Woof because I wanted to know the warmth of families in different countries.

I previously WWOOFed in the US for a few weeks at a farm / winery and had an amazing experience. I had originally wanted to WWOOF abroad but most countries still had covid restrictions so was unable to. Since then, I have wanted to WWOOF again but had a hard time finding enough time to take off of work. However, I now have the opportunity to take a month long break from work between my two jobs so I want to take advantage of it and WWOOF again! Also, doesn't hurt that it's a great way to escape the winter in the northern hemisphere for a month 🙂

As I was only supposed to travel Australia for a month, I ended up traveling for 4 months and loving it! I've loved seeing and living more than the tourist life and getting to know more about the country, its nature, the people and the animals through WWOOFing. Between 7-27 of FEB I’ll be somewhere between Byron Bay and Brisbane, as I’m flying to NZ from Bris on the 27th and slowly making my way up there. I’m super keen to do some volunteering during that time, somewhere around these areas. I’ll also be visiting Tassie and am looking for a lovely place to WWOOF at for two weeks between march 25 to april 22nd.

Because I want to have more experiences in farm work, I want a great environnment of work and I want to create some friends relationships to discover good places here in autralia (maybe secrets one) :). And I like the idea of this app : working/ helping to have accomodations, it is a beautiful solidarity way.
