I joined WWOOF because I think it is the best way to meet new people abroad while finding an accomodation and learning stuff about a foreign culture and farming.

I have joined WWOOF because I believe that I can enrich my experience in Australia through this organization; I wish to meet lots of people and help them with their projects, in exchange for knowledge and a good time. I would like to travel around Australia also with the help of WWOOF and its hosts, by volunteering some weeks for them. I am young and fresh out of University, but what I most desire right now is to travel, learn new crafts, explore nature, and meet people. There is still so much I want to learn, and I hope that each WWOOF experience can give me something new so that I can become a better version of myself in the future.

We have met several current WWOOFers who love their experiences! The WWOOFers talk about their engagement with the host family and learning more about the culture where they volunteer. They also talk about contributing and learning new skills which we are very keen to do.

Since it is my first time traveling on a working holiday visa, I felt that WWOOF was a reliable source that provides a wonderful environment where I get to meet new people, learn and experience new things, and hopefully return the favor by helping out my hosts.

I have been interested in WWOOfing for many years but have never had the perfect opportunity to do so. I am incredibly interested in food and the human connection to it due to my studies. I am excited to work hands-on on a farm to gain real experience. I believe this will be a great way to get to know the country and the culture a little deeper.

I joined WWOOF to find an organic host farm anywhere in Australia or in New Zealand to volunteer with. I am very flexible, I can start immediately and Iā€™m keen to relocate.

I'm looking to learn some more about myself, meet new people, and put myself out of my comfort zone. I think that's when the most meaningful memories happen. The sense of culture that I've gathered from what WWOOF is and what it represents is what really attracts me to this organization.

I grew up on a farm in New Zealand and had a ton of WWOOFERS stay and work with us. I had always loved this idea and believe it's the best way to learn about a new culture and understand how people live. I am a hard worker and have a great range of skills that could be useful on any time of farm. I also have great cooking skills, have worked in child minding and hands on farm work.
