City/Town: Wynyard
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home
We have 15 acres behind Wynyard Tasmania where we have chemical free veggie gardens and a couple of friendly pooches. We have extensive flower gardens with beautiful views across the rolling hills and roaming chooks that we intend to pen in to a paddock so they are still free range but not pooping at the back gate.

Therefore, I would like to experience living in harmony with nature and in a community in a culture different from Japan. 2. I want to learn English and interact with diverse people. I can only speak English at an everyday conversational level. I would like to be able to speak English more fluently. I would like to be able to speak English more fluently and enjoy interacting with a variety of people.

I joined woofing in order to learn new things in different countries. I like to develop my knowledge in different areas. In my personal opinion it’s a perfect match cause hosts and volunteers benefit from it. Also with my studies it’s more than interesting to participate at woof.

My knowledge of sustainability is very theoretical. I would love to learn more about organic farming and working with my hands which is why WWOOF is a good fit to make my knowledge more well rounded. I also hope to meet new people and work with them as I always enjoy working with others! I hope to move to Australia one day and this is a great way to learn more about the culture at the same time learn some practical skills!

I would like to return to WWOOFing as i have found it so helpful in my past, learning new skills and meeting inspiring people. I am keen to advance my skills, particularly in my understanding of Viticulture, espcially from small scale producers who can follow their own rules. I would like to branch out and discover some new things.

The school that I teach at now is focused on nature-based learning. I love being able to teach and learn outside with my students. My journey in understanding environmentalism has been wrapped in education and I know I don't want to teach forever. I want to continue developing my love for the natural world independently. I love gardening, I love connecting with the earth. I've visited and done short stays on farms in the US. I want to spend the summer exploring farming and gardening in a new environment.

I joined the wwoofing community to really enhance my travelling experience in Australia. My dream currently is to work my way down the East Coast, but I also want to work and contribute at the different places I plan to visit. I love being occupied and busy, especially knowing I am helping a host who may need some assistance. I'm definitely ready to see the top tourist places on the East Coast but I really want to take part in authentic working and living spaces through-out Australia. I hope to achieve a real life education in Australian culture and new skills along the way.

I have two reasons. First, I would like to talk with Australian people. I like talking to people. Second, I would like to experience growing vegetables and raising animals. I like eating and nature. So, I would like to know how the foods are made. And, I would like to live close to nature.

I see WWOOF as an opportunity to meet people and gain skills. I'm primarily interested in regenerative agriculture, beef cattle & sheep, grazing management, holistic frameworks and ecology. I've been to Australia twice before as a clueless backpacker in 2013 and 2016, so what I want to do and see now is drastically different from back then. Volunteering is an exchange that has to suit both parties: I will work my guts out as long as I know that I'm doing something relevant, meaningful and I'm learning something.

I like nature and animal and I'm interested in farming. In Japan, I don't have any experience of it and I'd like to be involved in a job that has something to do with farming. Now I have study break so I want to work at farm and I want to make this experience valuable for my future. I also want to communicate with a lot of people.

I have joined WWOOF to learn more about sustainable living and organic farming practices and to develop the skills needed to give myself that lifestyle when I eventually return home to Canada. I love the motives behind this organization and the common goal we all have: to live sustainably and truthfully without compromising fun or flavour.

I have been wwoofing in New Zealand in 2014/15 and it was the best time of my life! So many new things to learn in combination with the opportunity to really get to know the locals and how life can look like in your country. I'd love to be not so much of a tourist, but feel more like a local for my time being here.
