I joined Woof because I myself am a host in Caledonia, and I have practised in NZ. It allows me to travel at low cost, discover places and meet people with similar goals to mine for our shared environment and future lives. I'm thinking about exchanges between countries.

The future of our planet depends on restoring soil health and reducing the risks of monoculture farming, which relies heavily on chemical fertilisers and GMO seeds promoted by monopolistic agribusiness. I am interested to learn more about the best practices in organic, permaculture and sustainable agriculture as well as gain skills to become a self-sufficient homesteader by helping and learning from experienced farmers around the world.

We joined Wwoof to gain new knowledge about farming and farm life. In addition, it would allow us to learn more English and the habits and contributions of local families

I joined WWOOF to meet like minded people who love nature and working outdoors. I hope to learn more about agricultural practices in Australia and develop my skills in this area whilst lending a hand to local communities. I think WWOOFing will give me the best opportunity to immerse myself in Australian life and have an authentic experience while travelling.

We love meeting new people, especially locals and learn as much as we can on different ways of living and customs. We are joining WWOOF hoping to help around and picking up new skills while on our travels around Australia! We love being outdoors and working with our hands, so we would love to work around farms and animals, learn more about farm methods and how to take care of farm animals.

I joined WWOOF because I want to experience the real Australian countryside and immerse myself in rural life. Having grown up on a dairy farm, I’ve always enjoyed working outdoors and being around animals. However, every country has its own unique way of farming, and I find it fascinating to learn about different methods, traditions, and daily routines. WWOOF gives me the perfect opportunity to do exactly that while meeting like-minded people and experiencing true Australian hospitality. I also see this as a great chance to improve my practical skills and gain hands-on experience in different areas of farming. Whether it’s working with livestock, maintaining gardens, or helping with general farm work, I’m excited to learn new things and challenge myself. Besides that, I love the idea of living in a community, working together, and sharing meals and stories. It’s a completely different lifestyle compared to city life, and I look forward to embracing it fully.

Wwoofing for me means rediscovering the simple joys of life, connecting with nature and animals, meeting new people, improving my English, and personal enrichment. I can’t wait to start this exciting adventure!

We joined WWOOF because we both want to make the experience of working on a farm and we like the concept of supporting the local farms while doing so. At the same time we want to get in contact with local people so that we can learn more about life and the people living here. It`s a great opportunity and chance to upgrade our experience of our working holiday time here. We both like to do something practical and see the result of our work.

I came to Australia with a WHV in order to wander the country, learn about bushcraft and eventually find a job in a mining company. WWOOF is great for short term experience, networking, meeting people. I believe and I hope there is interconnection between my long term goal and farm experiences. I am also highly interested in traditionnal agriculture, and happy to exchange knowledge.

I joined WWOOF because, while I aim to study abroad, my daily life in Japan has become a repetitive cycle of part-time work, and I haven’t yet made concrete plans for studying overseas. I wanted to take action and found that WWOOFing is an excellent opportunity to experience life abroad. I’ve never lived abroad and want to gain international experience before studying overseas. Although I’ve imagined this through YouTube and online sources, I haven’t fully grasped the difference from my current life. WWOOF offers a way to understand this better while keeping costs low with free accommodation and meals. Additionally, I’m studying English to enhance my international skills, and WWOOFing will help me improve my English by immersing me in a real-life environment. If I can act here now and go to New Zealand to work, I am confident that it will be a sure step toward my future dream.

Having arrived in Australia three weeks ago, my goal on this platform is to naturally meet new people while sharing my cheerful personality and diverse hands-on experiences. I have been working since the age of 16 during summers and full-time since I was 19. I have experience in factories and public works, and I am not afraid of hard work. I also wish to improve my English. I can hold a basic conversation.

The reason that I joined WWOOF is because I thought it sounded like a fun thing to do while in Australia. My happy place is with animals of different kinds, especially dogs. And I also enjoy seeing new places, and visiting farms therefore seemed like something unique besides just travelling around.

I want to learn a lot more about australia. I hope there is a good connection and atmosphere with all the people to just enjoy the time here. Although on my research about whoof did I not find a single negative comment about it. Many people recommend it, so I think its a good opportunity to meet new people.

I have always tried to eat healthy and would like to be able to provide for myself. I have gone WWOOFing before, but never in Australia (only in the Netherlands). Since I have always wanted to go to Australia, this seems like a logical choice. Please let me know!!!
