Short Property Description
The property “esperanza” is located 1km from the town centre of Lismore, 5 acre property on the river, some of the land is proned to flood and was affected by the 2022 flood. There are big dreams for this property. we have already planted 600 rain forest trees, started 4 fruit forest rows (syntropic/agroforestry), grew 100kg of garlic and lots of vegetables. The farm is at the baby stage but there are many projects that are getting underway such as a nursery andnative bee keeping. there is a hot tub overlooking the river and is gorgeous under the starry night. We are just a little farm trying to make a big difference.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I became a Host firstly caused we need help, but more importantly it is a beautiful farm and would love to inspire wwoofers and show them how amazing it is to plant more trees and bring biodiversity back to our lands, and how rewarding it feels.. also to plant some fruit trees so we have lots of food to eat. and also looking forward to meeting others and seeing what gifts they have to bring as well
