“I am finally hanging up my WWOOFer boots, and work clothes, at 67 I’ve decided to do other things and my body is not capable of 4-6 hours a day on the land, sadly.
“WWOOFing has been a part of my life for 19 wonderful years. I have WWOOFed in UK, Europe and Oz and have so many rich and varied stories, memories and experiences, learnt so much about so many topics, places, people, I could go on forever.
I can’t recommend WWOOF highly enough to anyone, at any age to try, simply has been the one constant and most rewarding group I’ve been in. Many friendships were made, some still retained.
All I can say is get out there, meet, explore, work and you will find life so rewarding and enriching…..go for it”
