I spent a month here, and each day was a new experience with new things to learn every day. While here, I mainly got to work with the animals, which was great and eye-opening to how it all works.
Sharon and Graham are both great to work with, and both will take the time to show you the ropes and teach you not just how things work by why it works the way it does. The month flew by far too quickly, and I hope I get the chance to come by again someday (the delicious food is also an incentive to come back).”

“Geoff and I had the best time at the Butterfly Farm! Chris and Angel are fantastic hosts and everyone who was working there was really welcoming from the start. We usually worked until lunch time doing various jobs from gardening to looking after the animals, then we would all eat lunch together and have the afternoon off to hang out in the pool, or explore Batchelor or the stunning Litchfield NP.
In the evenings if it was busy we might give a hand in the restaurant, then play cards and have good conversations with the other staff. Dinner would be eaten together and was always tasty and interesting! Their home has all sorts of animals living there so you should like animals!! We stayed for around 2 weeks and had a really fun time! Would highly recommend!!”
