Short Property Description
Widgeongully is a 2000Ha property which has the Murrumbidgee River flowing past on one boundary. There are 5 families living on the farm enjoying many different occupations on farm and off. Two vets as well as sheep farmers and one family who have restored the old shearing quarters for accommodation. The farm is about 6km from a little thriving village called Jugiong where lots of people stop for refreshments at the local pub and motel and cafe.
I am involved in the maintainance and development of a very large organic vegetable and fruit garden and am in the process of building an organic swimming pool. Activities at the moment will be involved in completing the organic pool and growing plants and planting trees as well as lots of other fun activities growing food and nuturing the soil.
