Short Property Description
We are located on the dry inland side of Mount Tambourine on 5 acres of dry sclerophyll forest, which is mainly an eucalypt open forest with shrubby understory. It’s fairly steep land, with a small clearing for the house etc. A lot of the forest has invasive weed species, which we are slowly removing / managing areas. We moved here in Oct 2022 and have set up an organic veggie garden along with some existing citrus trees. We are slowly expanding the veggie garden, including planting a variety of fruit trees etc. As the surrounding properties are relatively undeveloped with most of the original forest remaining, it is lovely and peaceful, with an abundance of birds and wallabies. We have 2 cats (kept inside at night), some chickens and 3 goats.
