Organic/Biological methods we use
“Permaculture (permanent agriculture) is the harmonious integration of landscape and people, providing their food, energy, shelter and other material/non-material needs in a sustainable way. The philosophy behind permaculture is one of working with rather than against nature; of protracted and thoughtful observation, rather than protracted and thoughtless action. It is the concious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive eco-systems which have the diversity, stability and resilience of natural eco-systems.” Bill Moliison: Permaculture – A Designer’s Manual.
Am not bound by ideology relating to food production. Or anything for that matter. I consider myself to be curious, considerate, observant and resourceful. Try to apply at least some of that to most aspects of living and what I undertake here. Quite fond of my birds and wildlife and do what I can to make them feel part of the system. Most of them at least!
