Why I became a WWOOF Host

We joined Wwoof because we have previously hosted friends and families who have not just enjoyed the stay, the gorgeous river, but the adventure it is up here off grid & working on a farm!

We appreciate all help, whether that be somebody helping keep our house/yard tidy and clean, through to those keen to get into the garden and help better it, or keen to help us replant a forest, or where they are keen to help build things like sheds for animals for other more elaborate accomodations.  Through to general help with every day farm duties, feeding calf, moving cows to new paddock, mowing… or just throwing together a tasty dish with garden ingredients, the list goes on!

It can be a fun way for both host and guest to enjoy a different way of life, while gaining new skills & meeting new people!  It’s a win win, and many friends have been made hosting.
