Hi, My name is Sophie and i am 19 years old. I love the outdoors and spend lots of my time trail running and exploring the Australian bush, i also love animals and have goats, chooks and native wildlife that we rehabilitate on my parents hobby farm.
I’m also a keen environmentalist and am apart of a group a few friends and i created, where we help to create awareness in our local area surrounding climate change and the destruction of the environment.
I am currently a university student studying environmental science, and have previously worked as a casual cleaner and gardener, just doing weeding and mulching.
Why I joined WWOOF
The reason l decided to join the WWOOF program is because I am always keen to learn new skills and meet people. Especially learning environmentally sustainable skills, as I hope to one day become an ECO tour guide in National Parks.
