About Me

Personal Bio

Hey I’m Rob! I’m currently travelling the east coast of Australia and am eager to volunteer with Wwoof. I am passionate about having a positive impact on the planet and communities through offering my time and enthusiasm. I love spending time getting to know people, playing any kind of sport and being around nature. It is really important to me to volunteer and I love meeting new people along the way. I began my time in Australia volunteering at a vegan community cafe in Melbourne and would love to end my time here volunteering in Cairns!

Why I joined WWOOF

I have joined Wwoof because I would like to end my time in Australia by helping out with a sustainable farm project and learn new skills that I can use in the future. I worked in finance for two years after studying Maths at university, but I didn’t feel comfortable working in an industry that didn’t hold people and the planet as a high priority. So I quit my job and have enjoyed spending some time travelling Australia, making new friends, volunteering and challenging myself.
