We have a big sunny farmhouse in a small village that’s ten minutes from Lismore, 20 minutes to Evans Head beach or Ballina and about 50 minutes to Byron Bay. The farmhouse is a five star air bnb on a 78 acre property which currently runs cattle but is slowly transitioning to a sustainable community and native animal sanctuary. (Well that’s the plan). We have a Natural Sequence farmer who runs Angus cattle here in the paddocks around the house.
The house has loads of character, 4 big bedrooms with comfy beds and a saltwater swimming pool, loads of indoor and outdoor living spaces. We usually get 5 stars when we put it on Air bnb and I am a Superhost. You can look it up on airbnb under Wyrallah, NSW.
Everything is provided and you can usually have the whole house and pool to yourselves.
There is lots to see like secret waterfalls, art galleries and organic markets.
It is a great area with a vibrant, creative community. We love it and think you will too.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We love hosting people, especially young ones. We would like to create a sanctuary for people, plants and animals. The first step is removing exotic species and planting natives. Next is planting some food trees for koalas and then creating a wetlands and food forest. There is lots of bush to regenerate, especially on the riverbank. It’s more straight landcare for now and then permaculture down the track. We have a Natural Sequencer farming practioner who agists cattle here.
Organic/Biological methods we use
For now: Regenerative agriculture/Natural Sequence farming
Down the Track:
Permaculture and Biodynamic Farming
