    Short Property Description

Certified organic farm on 10 acres at Narangba, between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. We grow kale, silverbeet, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, herbs and passionfruit. Wwoofers assist with many tasks including field preparation, planting, weeding, trellising, picking and packing. Self-contained accommodation for wwoofers.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We use only certified organic inputs to grow our crops. We focus on nutrient enrichment and production of nutrient dense, high-quality produce. We brew beneficial biological bacteria and have worm farms as part of our integrated management processes. We practice crop rotations and fertilise through a combination of foliar spraying, and physical application of composts and other natural fertilisers.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We joined Wwoof more than ten years ago when we were just starting our organic farm venture. Wwoofers are enormously helpful with the many day to day tasks on our busy farm. As farmers, we enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience with those who are genuinely interested in organic farming techniques. As a family, we love the cultural exchange and meeting people from all over the world.
