Short Property Description
Around 40kms North of Brisbane, 30 min by train, Farm Animal Rescue is a registered charity that rescues farm animals from abuse, neglect and situations where they are in danger and provides them with a forever home.
Organic/Biological methods we use
The farm is 1km from the village of Dayboro, which has 9 cafes and a pub. There is no public transportation available.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Despite a huge need, there are only a handful of farmed animal rescues in Australia for animals out of the food industry. This program gives you time to get to know how incredible these animals are, and provides a sound understanding of the individualised animal care that these animals so often don’t receive.
