Short Property Description
We are located in the outer suburbs of Brisbane on 5 acres. Leisure facilities include 25m lap pool, push bikes and home theatre. We back onto the Brisbane Koala Bushlands which have many kms of walking tracks.
We used to be a small artisan producer of award winning cheese however, we now make it for ourselves. We are no longer regularly milking our goats.
Volunteering includes cheese making, help with goats, general maintenance & gardening.
Accommodation for up to 2, single or couple only, within our home. Shared meals, all cook together. We are mainly vegetarians with a few meat dishes on occasions unless we have vegetarians staying. We don’t cater for vegans, mostly our meals have dairy and eggs and we don’t substitute. No children. No smoking, not even outside. Own bathroom. Min stay 2 weeks.
We are close to Brisbane city, only 25 kms away. On your downtime, we can take you to the bus station, only 25 minutes on the bus to the city, catch a train to the Gold Coast or take a water taxi ride to Stradbroke Island for the day. A variety of activities and events are happening all year round in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
