    Short Property Description

We run a small boutique, spray free flower farm nestled in a valley just south of Gympie. Permaculture principles are followed in our personal vegetable gardens where we grow much of our own food. We are both vegans and love to cook using vegtables we have grown in our garden. WWOOFers will stay in the small hut that we renovated and have installed an outdoor shower and composting toilet. The hut contains a double bed and a bar fridge and a small deck area which is private from the main house. If you do not have transport we can collect you from the bus or train station in Gympie.

We have an expectation that you will commit to stay and be working with us for a minimum of 2 weeks. We look forward to meeting you.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We use all organic products on our property and try to utilise many permaculture practices. Saving seeds and growing plants from seed is a passion of mine. We also take cuttings to replicate plants.

    The Stay

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We are continually expanding our flower farm and require assistance in creating raised garden beds, fencing and watering and weeding of the gardens. Extra hands help reduce the load of planting seeds, raising seedlings and transferring them into gardens. We may also require assistance with harvesting flowers during spring and summer. Prior to establishing our flower farm, we lived as expats for 7 years in the UAe. We love to travel and meet new people and feel that our farm would be a great way to continue to make connections with people from around the world.
