I’m a full-time university student in Perth, Western Australia. I enjoy volunteering within my university and the community, whether it be the university’s own veggie patch, cleaning up debris and microplastics on WA’s beaches, or helping to conserve and restore the Swan River Estuary. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, in the gym, or in nature, and am particularly fond of hiking.
Why I joined WWOOF
I find being in nature and doing a hard days work in dirt very grounding and rewarding, especially with other likeminded and lovely people. I’m looking for an enriching experience with other WWOOFers where I can make friends and learn practical skills from my hosts and my peers.
I’ll be looking to WWOOF from 16 November – 27 February 2021/2022 during my university summer break, and again during future university breaks.
