I am 28 years old, from the Boston area, and work professionally in marketing. I am friendly and know how to “go with the flow.” I graduated in 2013 with a degree in English and then spent a year teaching in Madrid, Spain. I have traveled throughout Europe and love learning new languages and cultures (I speak Spanish in addition to English). When I am not working, I enjoy dancing, reading, and working on my blog. I love dogs and my Maltese is my best friend.
I recently finished a master’s degree in English this past May and am beginning another program in the fall (an MBA). I decided to quit my job and do once-in-a-lifetime opportunities before I have to move and start working/studying again. WWOOF’ing has always been on my list.
Why I joined WWOOF
I care about the food that goes into my body. I do not have a special diet but I think what we put inside our bodies is crucial to leading a healthy life. I want to learn more about agriculture and sustainable practices that create foods that are great for our bodies, and even better for the planet.
