Hi ! I am Mari Yasuda, from Japan. I recently finished master’s degree in mechanical engineering and I have some time before start working. I visited Australia last year, and had a great time. Since then, I’ve wished that I could live in Australia someday ! I like animals, arts and crafts, reading a book, and being in nature. I don’t have any special skill in farming, but I would be a diligent worker !
Why I joined WWOOF
I want to learn Australian culture and farm life. I am interested in growing my own food supply, caring for the environment and living with nature. However, doing those things is difficult for me since I am living in the city. Through working in farm, I wish I could learn what I can do and what should I change. Also, I want to learn Australian culture and way of thinking.
