Short Property Description
We have a 20 acre property with Chickens, ducks, vegetables, fruit trees and cattle situated 20 minutes from Innisfail towards the Atherton Tablelands and approx 1 hour from Cairns.
The property has a beautiful waterfall and the creek which is easily accessible for swimming and fishing. The creek makes up 2 boundaries of the property.
The property was in a state of disrepair when we purchased it but slowly it is improving. We are hoping to get a two bedroom cottage up and running for holiday rental before the end of the year.
Innisfail is a banana and pawpaw growing area so maybe some money could be earnt on a nearby property if your visa allows.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
My children have all left home and I am used to cooking for a large number of people so have vacant rooms and will enjoy cooking for more than just my husband and myself.
My husband works with backpackers and therefore I know the over the top charges to stay in hostel accommodation.
David and I both enjoy showing off our area to visitors and enjoy meeting new people. We are honest, hardworking people with the ability to make a tourists experience more memorable without costing a fortune.
The work here is easy and times are flexible with our WWOOFers given the opportunity to enjoy beautiful area of Far North Queensland. There is always something to learn and experience.
Hope to see see you soon
