My name is Kevin. I am a 20 years old backpacker from Germany. I spent 15 months in a Campervan in New Zealand with my girlfriend Vivien where we have gained a lot of experiences. Beside travelling around the country we worked in the Kumaras, in a Rose nursery and in a Kiwi orchard.
But now it is time for us to make a change and explore this wonderful place Australia. We are a simple couple which likes facing new challenges. Seeing other places on earth is our motivation for travelling.
Same like learning new things, different cultures and people. In New Zealand we used to do a lot of hiking and being outside everywhere on the beaches and in the mountains.
Why I joined WWOOF
WWOOF is a good chance to get closer into contact with locals. Learning more about them and their traditions. It is more interested to live with people from that place than staying in a hostel and get no view how the country really looks like. Beside that it is great to learn more about farming and all what comes along with that job.
