Hey, we are a Brazilian couple living in Australia for the last 5y. We are in the process of heading back to our country to work in our family farm. We’ve been wwoofing around regional Victoria for the last 2 months.
A bit about us: Julio is a mechanical engineer currently working with tourism, and Thais is an environmental lawyer and professional chef.
We love nature, cycling, dogs!, and to share a drink and food with friends. We don’t smoke and we are really easy going couple. Ah, and Thais is a relaxed vegetarian, nothing strict.
We have some farming skills, but we are willing to learn as much as possible before moving back to Brazil.
We are currently studying online permaculture and a food forest course. So we want learn as much as possible about these 2 fields to apply on our farm in Brazil.
Why I joined WWOOF
We joined WWOOF for the opportunity to work in organic farms and to learn and live a farm way style of life.
We are passionate about farm life. Julio grew up going to the farm every weekend and holidays, and Thais grew up in the middle of the Amazon.
And now we feel like we need to learn about farming techniques before moving to our farm.
