About Me
Personal Bio
Hi, my name is Jo. I am a non smoker and non-drinker in my late thirties. I have just moved from sunny Kununurra to Tasmania with my trusty Hilux in tow. I am a happy, observant, clean, easy going (yet organised) person, who loves a laugh and doesn’t mind getting my hands dirty. I am always keen to try something new, whether that be food or experiences.
I have a special love for all animals, especially the feathered varieties. I love travelling, taking in new sights and sounds, meeting people from all walks of life and sharing stories along the way. I am keen to learn more about sustainability and permaculture, so I can eventually put this into practice. My hobbies include squash, bush walking, brewing kombucha, camping and fishing.
Why I joined WWOOF
- I joined the WWOOFing community so I can experience all the beauty Tasmania has to offer! As a west coaster, who has spent the last 7 years in Kununurra, our landscapes and temperatures are nothing alike those of Tasmania, so I am keen to adventure around this beautiful little state and spend time in different regions and WWOOFing allows me to do just that!
