Short Property Description
5,000 sqm on the edge of a beautiful coastal town, 400m from Wilson Inlet and 6km from Ocean Beach. We live among Marri, Jarrah and Balga bush, on a granite outcrop, and maintain permaculture fruit trees, veggie beds, chickens and bees.
Our main projects are to further establish seasonal food production, and to restore the bush on the block. There are two separate accommodation buildings on the property, and our guests are assured of privacy, and as much independence as they would like.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Fifteen years (or more) ago we volunteered as Couchsurfing hosts in Fremantle. We met many wonderful people, some of whom have become lifelong friends. We love to share our Australian life experience with visitors, either from abroad or from within this vast country.
Having moved to a regional location, and with spare accommodation, it seems fitting to offer our hospitality to people who are willing to help out around the place.
We would like to eradicate an invasive species that has established itself on the property, to maintain fire protections, and to expand our vegetable beds. In return we can also offer experience with beekeeping, and looking after a few chickens.
