I’m Ichiro Oeda from Japan. I’m 61 years old.I was majoring in English Literature course when I was a University sutudent. After graduating, I worked as a local civil servant until I reached the retirement age of 60. I almost didn’t use English for work, so my English is getting rusty. My favorite pastime is playing tennis. Most of the weekends, I play it with my club members. I also play saxophone and I belong to the band. We sometimes visit people in nursing homes. It is a great joy for me when old people seem to have enjoyed.
Why I joined WWOOF
I believe the life in farms will be able to become useful experiences for me, not only improving my English , but also building dense human relationships. I’d like to make friends with the people who are living in Australia and other wwoofers from different countries. I wish I have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture and work in a farm.
