Short Property Description
We are starting a food security project 2 hours from Melbourne. Our property is currently a small organic olive grove that is set on 80 acres in regional Victoria, Australia. We are turning this land into a community farm that provides free organic produce to the local community and surrounding areas between Bendigo and Ballarat.
This is a completely off-grid site that will be developed into a solar-powered, self-sufficient biodynamic vegetable farm and fruit orchard as well as a festival site. We are looking for committed medium-term WOOFers to stay with us and help build the vision of a community farm, public park, and festival site, that can provide basic food to the community around us.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We decided to become WWOOF hosts because we wanted to find the support and help we need to improve food security and feed our local community. We’re also looking to teach and learn new skills.
