Short Property Description
Dark Horse Farm is a 100 acre organic farm 7kms from beautiful Yackandandah in North East Victoria. We are a registered carbon farm – the first small acreage property to be accredited. Tree planting will begin again in the Australian Autumn. We also have a large vegetable patch that needs daily care, fruit trees, 7 horses, 4 goats, 4 chickens, 2 sheep and 5 pet dogs.
Our ideal match would be a vegetarian or vegan couple or single who love animals and is passionate about regeneration. You would also not be shy about the every day mundane tasks – we spend a lot of time mowing, brush cutting weeding and redistributing horse manure.
Accommodation for our WWOOFs is a well appointed caravan.
