About Me
Personal Bio
Hi there! We are an easy going couple in our late twenties currently working in the building industry as an Architect and Engineer. We both love practical hands on work and believe that being outdoors by far beats sitting in an office getting square eyes! We love travelling and have taken a break from work recently to explore the north west of Oz. Tasmania is calling and we’d love to get some farm experience under our belts for a bit of fun as well as to set us up for running our own farm one day when we can afford it!
Baden is a super handy man and a natural problem solver and I like to give anything a go and help out wherever possible! We are probably both in our element when either camping, hiking, gardening, playing board games or recycling and upcycling. One recent example of this is making retro pallet furniture.
Why I joined WWOOF
We thought we’d join WWOOF to gain an authentic experience in the agriculture industry and to learn about what it really means to run your own farm before we try to actually do it ourselves. We hope to meet like minded friends while woofing as well as take away valuable skills for the future.
