I am an outgoing, hard working, caring, and adventurous 28 year old who has called Santa Barbara, California home for the past 10 years. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, enjoying natural beauty, running, hiking, and gardening. I grew up in the seacoast region of New Hampshire gardening and taking care of animals from a young age. I have always had a love for it. I have also studied Geography and Geology and have worked as a GIS tech (Geospatial Information Systems) and spatial data for few years in addition to nearly 10 years of food and beverage / hospitality experience, as well as other work in sales and management. I very much look forward to an opportunity where I can learn and work further with organic farming while meeting new people.
Why I joined WWOOF
I have had an interest in WWOOF for many years now and find it to be a brilliant way to explore and be submersed in another culture. I am joining to broaden my experiences traveling, create memories, and to be able to learn as much as possible about gardening by sustainable and organic methods. I think WWOOFing is also a great way to potentially make great lasting friendships.
