Hey! We are Anoek (27) and Charlotte (30) from the Netherlands. We arrived in Australia on the third of February. We’ve been visiting family and enjoying the outdoors: camping, hiking on beautiful nature trails, kayaking and even tried some surfing. Seeing baby turtles, dolphins, glowworms, kangaroes and koala’s were amongst our best experiences. Charlotte is a chef and Anoek is a social worker & musician, traveling with her guitar. Having a wholesome meal and some wonderful music is in our opinion the best combo:)! We are both social, positive girls who are in good physical shape and eager to learn new things. We love meeting new people and share experiences and knowledge about life 🌱 We both have an international drivers licence. We are in Nothern Queensland from the 24th of march and able to commence work as of that day.
Why I joined WWOOF
When one of our friends back home told us about her WWOOF experience in Tasmania we instantly knew that this is what we want to do too. We applied for a working holiday visa with a main goal to learn and gain experience rather than earning money. We’d love to contribute and bring some joy through music and good food while doing so 🍀
