Short Property Description
We have recently moved onto an acre of grass-land in the country which we are setting up with a veg garden and chooks. On the land we have two gypsy wagons, a comfortable shed and a yurt. Plans for a small house are being assessed by the local council. Our aim is to tread lightly on this land, and become as self-sufficient as possible while allowing the nature around us to be our guide. At this time we are preparing to build a closed in garden with a potting shed, a Chook shed & run, and a down hill reed/stone Grey water cleansing system.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
As a retired couple we enjoy playing music with people in the community. As ex teachers and a Musuc therapist we also play music with people who are living with dementia. We are blessed to be in a small county town that has a wonderful community plus a local hall, post office library, & health centre not far away. We value working with our community, meeting people from other countries and growing the world wide community of people working to overcome the challenges of pollution; climate change, and environmental degradation..
