My name is Alina and I’m 19 years old. I’m from Germany and live there in a village near Hamburg called Borstel-Hohenraden.
This year I just have finished with school and have achieved my high school diploma. Before my departure to Australia I did some casual jobs like selling fruits or working as a warehouse hand to finance my stay in Australia. Here in Australia I already worked on a horse farm in the Blue Mountains.
My hobbies are horse riding, kickboxing, dancing, spending quality time with friends and family and playing the violin. But horse riding is definitely my biggest passion 🙂
I would describe myself as an open-minded, motivated and cheerful young woman. I am not afraid of any physical effort and I’m a person who is responsible and that you can rely on.
Why I joined WWOOF
I joined WWOOF because I really like the attitude towards life on a farm and I want to know what it’s like and what it means to live and work on a farm “at the world’s other end”. Furthermore I really want to get to know country and people and I love working with and around animals.
