My life goal is to have a farm of my own. I’ve had a few different experiences with farming in the past that have confirmed my passion for organic growing.
In 2018 I was a WWOOFer on a farm in the USA for about two weeks and in 2019 I completed a summer internship at a CSA farm near my home. After that, I continued to volunteer at the farm near my home through a work-share program there.
My partner Douglas volunteered with me at this farm. Both Douglas and I also volunteered at Last Chance Ranch during this time, gaining some beginner hands-on experience with horses and barnyard animals.
Douglas and I love being outside, working hard, and learning about both animal and plant agriculture. Douglas studied wildlife biology at university and I studied biology- We both recently graduated and are ready to start our next steps towards creating a farm of our own.
We’re excited to WWOOF at your farm and learn more about agriculture from many perspectives!
Why I joined WWOOF
I joined WWOOF so that I can learn different methods and styles of farming through volunteering at multiple farms.
My partner Douglas and I hope to have our own farm one day and are interested in gaining a wide range of information about farming while volunteering at many different farms.
