Hey, my name is Alex, I’m from Germany (near Leipzig) and 20 years old.
I am travelling and WWOOFing in Australia this year as part of my travel package with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS). I am looking forward to experience Australian life by participating on the WWOOF scheme. I am hard working and curious to learn new things!
In my first few month in Australia I worked on mor than 10 different farms. I’ve cared for animals and done a lot of garden work (planting, mulching, pruning, mowing,…)
I’m very interested in mechanical and technical problems and like solving them.
In my free time I really enjoy surfing, reading, exploring and taking photos. I also enjoy meeting new people while travelling.
Why I joined WWOOF
I joined WWOOF through American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) and I am interested in learning about life on Australian organic and permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically. I am hard working and willing to learn.
Languages I speak
I have some experiences in mechanics (I renewed the electrics at two motorcycles), using gardening tools, open for new things, learning fast, some experience with animal care (also vetenary treatment)
