We live on 10 acres of waterfront on Hastings bay close to Hastings caves and thermal pool, surf beaches and the southwest wilderness. We own an old Tasmanian fishing boat which we maintain and use often for fishing and sailing. Anders is originally from Denmark and enjoys fishing, sailing, bee keeping, wood craft and building. Jane is a ceramsist and works from her home studio producing work for exhibitions, galleries and markets. She also loves gardening, bush walking cycling and sailing. We have 2 very friendly dogs living here I too ! We have a kitchen garden and small orchard and maintain about 4 acres of cleared land around the home. We enjoy visits from enthusiastic travelers willing to share our place with us. Common work here includes help with firewood, gardening, working with the bees in summer . Right now we need help in the garden, and fire wood stacking and help on our new build. Someone who likes to have a go at a bit of landscaping would be great ! We have a separate cabin/shed that accomodates a couple or a single person We enjoy a balanced healthy diet with lots of seafood! There are bikes to ride and access to a boat for fishing and exploring. We have shared bathroom facilities in our house plus a composting toilets as we are on tank water. Winter is here in Tasmania now but it is nice to go around without too many tourists!if you are keen to stay for more than a week as there are more possibilities for experiencing our place! Maybe even the Aurora 😊
