Wwoofer Profile
About Me
Personal Bio
Hello! I am an American who has lived in Europe (Netherlands and England) the last 5.5 years. I’ve been working in Healthcare IT the last 9 years and am ready for a new adventure. I left my job in May 2022 and plan to travel for several months before determining my next career move.
I enjoy an active lifestyle (running, hiking, biking), learning new things, and problem solving! Some other hobbies include games (card and board games mostly), piano, reading, and yoga. I have always been interested in WWOOFing, as I enjoy manual labor and want to have my own vegetable garden some day.
I would love the opportunity to have a home base and some structure while still having the flexibility to explore the local area.
Please ask me anything – I’m an introvert but an open book 🙂
Why I joined WWOOF
I want to learn more about farming. I also want some structure in the gap year I am taking. To me, WWOOFing is a way to learn more about things I’m interesting in, help others, and spend more time in areas I’m interested in.
