Hello my name is Courtney , I live on a hill with an infinity pool that is 3.5 meters deep with 180 degree ocean view. It is a beautiful space and we cook amazing food . I can provide a lovely home with a queen size bed or caravan if you prefer.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
In December last year our area was inundated with flooding. many people lost their homes, sadly their pets and nearly their lives. “We are searching for enthusiastic volunteers to get the community back on their feet after the December 2023 floods.
If you need your WHM days or just want to help out this is the time to get involved!
Here’s some answers to the questions you might have:
How to get here?
If you have a car it’s a scenic 4 hour drive up from Cairns
If not, don’t stress there’s a bus service from Cairns to Cooktown every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning
– This bus picks up from several hostels around Cairns
– Arrival point is the Ayton store.
– I have starlink at my home where you have full full access to it.

What to bring?
– hat/long sleeved shirt/closed in shoes
– Telstra sim card if you want to stay connected
When you’re here?
– Volunteers work the required 5-6 hours, 5 days a week leaving plenty of time to explore the surrounding area
I can provide …a queens size bed and .camping accommodation on site if you don’t have a self-contained vehicle and all meals but please be advised that while we try to accommodate dietary needs we are remote and may not be able to meet all requirements. Please let us know when you sign up if you have any restrictions

We need help all the way through until the wet season and we can provide adventures on the weekend for your help.
This volunteer work is in a natural disaster declared area (Our post code is 4895) which allows anyone on a working holiday visa to volunteer and the days will go towards your visa extension.

It won’t only be work work work there will be offers of going to the great barrier reef ( weather permitted crocodile spotting and exploring on the weekends although there has been massive flooding it is still very unique and beautiful.) for exchange of so much needed help to get back to some sort of normalcy.
