My friends and I spent a month of WWOOFing on farms in Australia.
The property, where we stayed had been, destroyed by a fire which had been started by lightening.
We got to mustered cattle and searched for calves that had lost their (mothers) herd and we took care them and of the other farm animals.
Clearing fallen trees we collected fire wood to reduce the fire risk around the property.
Then we replanted wheat and barley.

We learnt so much about agriculture and livestock farming.
We will always have good memories of this experience because we were useful during this month and got to meet people from other countries.
