Why I became a WWOOF Host

I was a WWOOF host for a number of years at Udialla Station in the West Kimberley from the mid nineties to 2002 and loved the experience. I had so many plants and animals to look after that I felt that I could no longer travel so I joined WWOOF so that I could bring the world to me. Udialla was also a small diverse farm just like we have here at The Date Farm where I’ll continue to share the joys of bush life, Organic farming following permaculture and biological farming principles which I have been practicing for over thirty years now.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We are a small diverse farm that follow permaculture and biological farming principles.

We have extensive organically grown vegetable garden.s and fruit trees to provide sustenance for our members and volunteers.

We also are a non-for-profit member owned commercial organic date farm growing 14 varieties of dates which are sold all over Australia.
