We see WOOFing as not only a way to explore Australia but also a platform to help us learn. Hamish and I both try to live an environmentally conscious lifestyle. We understand the evergrowing need for sustainable farming and permaculture (Hamish even wrote his university dissertation about permaculture!) As we both eat a plant-based diet, we're hoping to put these new skills into practice and grow our own food as well as take some time away from the UK for a little while to explore what else is out there!
We want to learn the life in the farms and we want to speak english. Sorry for my english, we are learning for the moment. For us, it will be a wonderfull experience to work in an Australian Farm because in France we work differently..Further more, we want to go in Tasmania for work and travel and we desire know Aussie population before our departure. We hope learn work farm for share all this to my friends and family.
I joined WWOOF through American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) and I am interested in learning about life on Australian organic and permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically. I am hard working and willing to learn.
