Short Property Description
Lucky’s Ridge is a 120acres of bush, heavily timbered, situated north NSW, near Tabulam, at the foot of great dividing range. It’s slightly subtropical (summer rain, dry winter usually, no frost). Since 2016, I’ve been busy establishing gardens and orchards on a few acres near the house and breeding small animals to feed myself and my guests.
In 2021, I’ve had a primitive campground approved and open. It was mostly to host seasonal self reliant backpackers coming to pick blueberries at Mountain Blue farm, but I’m also keen to host people interested in off grid living, homesteading and sustainability or whoever wants to come and camp in this quiet part of the bush.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
As my hobby farm got busier with my partner arrival, I’m looking at getting a pair of hands to help me especially when he goes away working. I’ve hosted backpackers over the years, including my now life partner, and they’ve always been great company and/or help. We love to share our dream life and being an inspiration to them while discovering new experiences through their travel stories.
