It is a great way to bring people together who could need help in various ways and offer opportunities to learn with people who would like to contribute, work and learn.

I like to work and we have to save money in such a expensive country. So i think "wwoof" is a good Chance to meet people who help us having a few good months in Australia.

Meeting people, learning from them and giving back is very important to us. We do not want to be just tourist. We wish we will meet many families.

Elmsleigh, originally an early 1900's dairy farm, high on the ridgeline with views towards the Sydney city skyline. We are recent owners of this 176 acres and graze Black Angus beef cattle in a mix of open grazing paddocks, bushland & areas to be regenerated. We also are regenerating the old, existing small kitchen orchard with plums, nectarines and mandarins and starting to include Permaculture into this area. Lots to be done! Lots of laughs to be shared along the way. Close to Sydney. Also near the main route to Melbourne and Canberra. Easy access by suburban train from Sydney with bus to The Oaks. Can collect from The Oaks. We are 1.5 hrs by car and about 2.5 hrs by public transport from Sydney. Lots of variety, work includes gardening, watering, weeding, mulching, composting, planting, helping with the cattle, regeneration of property and all types of handy work. Check the WWOOF forum for specific projects and dates. We’d love you to come work with us! Accom for 2 in our comfortable, cosy onsite caravan or BYO. We operate with limited rainwater tanks and power with basic rustic homestead in need of work. Its all part of the dream we are working on and hoping you will share. Shared meals, eat together, eat separately, mixed diet, Children by arrangement. Can only accept non-smokers. Initial stay 7 days, longer stays possible after initial stay. I would really like to discover the real Aussie way of life and experience working on a farm. I am always up for a challenge and get on well with everyone so adapting to new situations is easy for me. I am very excited to learn knowledge of how a farm operates and runs on a day to day basis. Currently, I’m in The Entrance as I was volunteering at the Wyong Triathlon Festival this weekend (November 18th) and I’m looking for a Woofing position on the Central Coast which is where I would like to be based for the time being.

I´ve already been wwoofing in Canada and it has been such an enriching experience so that I decided to do it again, this time in Australia. My mission is to work on sustainable farms and to learn various tasks concerning farm-work, for my own future garden/possible farm. I´m very open to every task, as I also want a break from studying and being in front of the computer all the time. I´m very keen on working outdoors, getting to know australian´s landscape and work/create something with my hands.

I heard about WWOOF from a friend and I am very excited to do this! I can't wait to start my adventure. I do not have much knowledge or experience in this but I am willing to learn and put in the effort.
