I have done some WWOOFing in England and Tasmania and really enjoyed it. At the two communities I was with in the UK, we harvested vegetables, weeded, stacked wood, made bread, milked cows, cooked large meals and cleaned.
I liked the generous, service-oriented atmosphere of these places and hope to find more WWOOFing experiences in my home country (Australia).

One of the most valuable things when you’re traveling is local knowledge. I joined WWOOF as a way to find my way into local communities throughout my travels, as well as gain new skills and understanding on sustainability, and where food comes from.
I am excited to learn the ways of sustainable farming and homesteading, all while making valuable  connections along the way.

I joined WWOOF because when I was studying in Tasmania and traveling around, I met many WWOOFers from all over the world who had all really enjoyed their experience traveling around Australia this way. When I returned to the United States after studying in Tasmania, I got connected with some local organic farms near my home university in Colorado, where I worked as an intern and taught other community members about the importance of organic agriculture. Now that I am finished with my degree, I want to travel back to Australia and experience different styles of organic agriculture while exploring the beautiful country.

We want to share our passion for cuisine, to learn on organic farms about methods (permaculture, regenerative agriculture, pick in the wild...), to travel to new places, to meet people and practice english...
