Organic/Biological methods we use
I am an organic olive grower and processor. I am certified with NASAA(Cert no 7137).
I use the occasional sheep manure for fertilising my trees, mowing and slashing for weed control, occassional spraying of the trees for some pest control with allowable products.I am attempting to improve my mulch and composting techniques.
I pick the olives by hand or with a hand held rake.
I process the olives in an olive processing machine. Only Organic additives are allowed. These are only used occasionally if necessary depending on the water content and ripeness of the olives.
All cleaning is done with allowable products.
