As a way to go adventuring in a way that supports respectful relationships with the land , to share my skills and knowledge with equally passionate people who are out there living their dreams in magical pockets of nature. To experience life in a more authentic way . For me, a holiday is not about lazing around doing nothing or viewing tourist attractions .. it’s about going on an adventure where I can engage in meaningful projects that support this planet.

I'd heard from my friends about the wonders of WWOOF so I thought I'd give it a go myself. It seems like the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and explore the country. Moreover, with time off uni, I thought it would be tragic to not take this opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try new things.

I joined WWOOF to learn more about sustainability, permaculture, building, farming etc through hands on experience. One day I want to live on a farm which implements sustainability and permaculture principals and philosophies and WWOOF is a great place of opportunity to learn more about this.

I have been told that its a great opportunity for young people to live abroad and learn simultaneously. Learn about sustainable living and how to grow your own food is something I am interested in.

I joined WWOOF as I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to learn about organic farming and connect with new people around Australia. With covid-19, travel outside of Australia is limited, but after discovering WWOOF Australia, I realise there is so many amazing places to go, people to meet, and work to be done right here on home soil! I hope to volunteer whenever I can in my university holidays; to share farming experiences and learn new skills.

Hi. My name is Michael. I have a degree in Social Science. I have WWOOFed before and enjoyed it. I live in the Northern Rivers. I'd like to visit some more farms in the northern rivers and meet great earthy people who get along with the land. I have lived at Bodhi Farm Community for a couple of years. I have WWOOFed in Bellingen and in the Northern Rivers. I am Australian if you are interested in that and I am a tall man, if height is a concern. My interests are getting earthy work done with nice sweet natured people. I enjoy swimming holes if you have a good one. I don't know if you really are hoping for specific qualifications, but I can use a variety of tools and I have done some constructive jobs that involved putting things together. Hope we can meet if you are a great land lubber. Bonswa!

To get experience with organic agriculture. Looking to move into regenerative agriculture and move to country. Want to get experience with several ways of agriculture/ horticulture before purchasing land myself. Keen to see the nitty gritty of some animal-based ventures such as dairy, beef, egg production, chicken meat, maybe sheep or goats. Also interested in market garden/ intensive horticulture.

We joined WWOOF Australia because it offers many of the things we value as we travel and educate our children. Health starts with diet and as we've explored this further the value of Organic food has become more and more important. As the world is changing I believe there is a real need to return to the basics of simple living and healthy eating. We are excited by the opportunity to live and work on an organic farm. For many years I've heard people talk about WWOOF and as time has passed my interest has grown. We have friends who recommended we join WWOOF Australia.

We are eager to teach our boys about healthy eating and healthy living. We are keen to engage with sustainable food pathways, and contribute to people's ideas and projects. We want to support organic growers, meet new people and explore more of our beautiful country.

From mid-November to mid-December, I want to help out here on WWOOF, in exchange for accommodation. I can offer up to five hours per day, up to five days per week. I would prefer weekends off to see my family, if possible. If you like, we can video or phone chat beforehand!

We are passionate about sustainable living and one day hope to buy our own plot of land, grow our own food based on permaculture practices and live self-sufficiently. Although we don’t yet know too much about organic, bio-dynamic or permaculture practices, we are looking to learn as we go and pick up many other relevant skills through different hands on experiences through Wwoof. We have a great work ethic and will have a good go at any task at hand; we are definitely not shy of hard work and getting our hands dirty.

Since I had an idea of the concept of WWOOFing I had the desire to be part of it. However, I always had to delay this dream due Visas commitments and full time jobs. Now I finally have the opportunity to be part of this community. To learn and teach knowledge and share this unique experience with like-minded people around the world. I’m fascinated with plants and vegie gardens as I always liked to play with that. My diet now is completely plant based (flexible to be vegetarian due of what is available to eat), and I try to eat as much as organic I can. It would be a great pleasure to work on an environment that I can learn processes and techniques of organic farms and share with people with the same or similar mindset. I’m also very interested to learn and work with permaculture as I believe to be one the most sustainable ways to live our lives and in harmony with our planet.
