Within walking distance is freshwater swimming holes and an organic banana farm which we also work with. Tasks will include: general nursery and garden work (potting up, weeding, mulching, planting etc.). We sell produce/plants at regular markets. Abundant wild life including wallabies right in the front yard, and platypus in the nearby national park. Possible excursions to a beach house and fishing and crabbing (if you're good! and time and tides permit.) Minimum stay one week. We have the largest log cabin in Australia, built of timber slabs on 7.4 acres, extensive wildlife, possums, kangaroos, echidnas, wombats, wallabies, lots of bird varieties & lizards. It’s a Ski Lodge with open fire places, wood oven, and friendly atmosphere, able to meet lots of guests. Work includes tree planting, free range egg collecting, composting, and vegie planting early spring. Skiing 3-4 days per week, gold panning available, trips to see the platypus.
