We live in Daylesford,  in Central Victoria. Our new home is only 10 minutes walk from the shopping centre, music venues,  library, swimming pool (in summer)  pubs, bars, and local Sunday Market.  We are setting up a small permaculture  garden and orchard.  Learn about permaculture and gardening by the moon. We prefer a couple or 2- 4 friends who don't mind sharing one room. You will have your own en-suite bathroom. TV and Wi-Fi. Work is 4-5 hours in the morning and includes compost making, building new garden beds, fencing, digging, weeding, pruning, mulching or landscaping.. You are welcome to come bush-walking with our local group on your day off on Fridays or attend the local Market on your day off on Sunday. Public transport (Train with connecting bus) from Southern Cross Station to Daylesford. We can pick you up at the bus stop at Daylesford. Stays of approx 4-10 days  Friday and Sunday off.  We would love to hear from you.

Have a free double-bed room that comfortably would suit a couple during lockdown. Hoping to get some company and help for this difficult time. Urban Permaculture property near the Merri Creek on Melbournes basalt plain. Designed by two fungal ecologists. We don’t have mushroom farms but actively recruit fungi & slime mould’s to help, we also encourage native plants & animals. We have a productive fruit hedge and in summer green walls of hops. Property is a work in progress. In the fungal season there are opportunities to join in mycological field work.

Not available Autumn and Winter. I live in Warburton about 75 kms east of Melbourne, in the beautiful Yarra Ranges.  My property is just one acre, but I have a vegetable patch, 15 established fruit trees (12 of them citrus), blueberry bushes, various other berries and a range of Australian native trees and bushes attracting native birds.
